New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced today December 10, 2021, that effective Monday, December 13, 2021, that there will be a state-wide mask mandate to be worn in all indoor public places unless a business or revenue implements a vaccine requirement.
The new mandate goes into effect on December 13, 2021, and will be in effect until January 15, 2022. After January 15, 2022, the state will reassess its effectiveness based on the current COVID-19 conditions.
